1. What type of video am I making?

There are so many different kinds of videos you could make. Stop and think or just browse YouTube. Everything from TV commercials to promotional videos to “How-To” videos…the sky is the limit these days with endless content needs, brand new platforms, industries, and audience niches popping up yearly, monthly, or even faster…that we know you’ll need SOME kind of video for your business. But what? Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s complicated, sometimes it’s just one video, sometimes it’s an entire video campaign. If you don’t know the answer to this question, contact us today to schedule a Strategy Session to help you figure out what kind of video will best serve your needs NOW.

2. What level of production do I need?

For some, it’s an iPhone. Now hold on, just because you’re a big business doesn’t mean that an iPhone Instagram video or Facebook LIVE video doesn’t apply to you. Sometimes these can be SUPER helpful to your business. And just because you’re a small business doesn’t mean you should only rely on iPhone videos, but once in a while you’ll need a fancier video too, depending on your goals with your business, audience you’re trying to attract, etc.

But beyond the iPhone videos, there are one-man production options and full crew production options complete with a director, cameraman, gaffer, makeup artist, stylist, photographer, etc. From outdoor lighting on your iPhone to full lights and multiple camera angles, again, the sky is the limit on what you can do with video. We can film on location or in our studio, but these are all production level decisions that need to be made BEFORE you execute your video.

3. What planning do I need to do before I start?

No matter what kinds of videos you’re making and what level of production you require, you NEED to have a plan before you shoot. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. It’s cliché, but it’s true! The best way to plan is to schedule a strategy session: with yourself, your team, your department, your staff… Not sure where to start? We can help!

Schedule a Strategy Session

Most businesses know they need a video and may or may not have an idea on exactly how that video needs to be made in order to help their business, but fail to make a detailed plan to ensure success. They skip the strategy stage and just go fast to get it done or take their time to just let whatever happen. Don’t let that be YOU. Contact us today to talk about how to execute your next video to ensure success. Your video needs to drive a solid result and a big return on investment so that your business can keep moving forward!
