“You’ve shown me that the fairytale love does exist” -Caitlyn
When your friend says, “You need to meet this guy…” STOP. Listen. It might be your future husband..it was for Caitlyn! Or if you meet a guy in front of the “H” buildings at Bakersfield College…it might be “THE” guy you will be walking down the aisle to one day. That’s what happened to Caitlyn! If you meet a girl and after two weeks she asks for your phone number…it very well could be your future wife. That’s what Riley would tell you! And if you’re Snapchatting and texting and end up at Flame Broiler for your first date…well, the story just might end in “happily ever after!” Riley and Caitlyn wouldn’t have it any other way!
Five years later their wildest dreams came true and Riley and Caitlyn tied the knot in front of family and friends at Stockdale Country Club. There were so many beautiful moments on their wedding day that we were able to capture on film…like the triple First Look with brother, dad, and grandpa, and then a special First Look with just the bride and groom. Or the sweet relationship between Caitlyn’s babysitter turned friend turned wedding planner. Or the precious romantic moments between hours old husband and wife, stealing away under the blossoming almond trees or down the grand old avenue lined with majestic palm trees.
Their friends could tell pretty quickly that there was something special between these two love birds, and when you see the way they look at each other on the dance floor during their First Dance you’ll agree that Riley and Caitlyn were meant for each other! These newlyweds were magically able to balance tuning everyone out and enjoying each other on their wedding day while also being so thankful for everyone’s presence and personally “wanting to hug everyone of you” as Caitlyn said.

We captured this wedding primarily in 4K Blackmagic Raw with Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K Cameras, Metabones Speedbooster, Sigma Art 18-35mm f1.8, Sigma Art 50-100mm f1.8, and Canon 100mm 2.8L Macro lenses with the Moza Air 2 gimbal. DJI Phantom 4 Pro for the 4k drone shots. We also captured additional footage using Panasonic Lumix G7, Lumix 12-35mm f2.8, Lumix 35-100mm f2.8, and Rokinon 85mm f1.4. Edited with Adobe Premiere and graded with FilmConvert and Lumetri. Audio captured with a multitude of Tascam recorders – Tascam DR-10, Tascam DR-05, Tascam DR-40 – and a mixture of lav mics from Tascam and JKL.
