What we offer

Sometimes. Not all packages include Raw Footage, but the packages that do include Raw Footage will have it clearly listed. Raw footage can be added to any package before the wedding day and up to a year after the wedding.

Yes! We’ve partnered with some wonderful photographers that are local to Bakersfield. We offer photo-video combo deals for brides who are looking to save money on their wedding. These are select photographers who we work well with as a team, and no matter who you choose, we’re sure you’ll love them too. Every couple is looking for something different in their photographer, so we have partnered with a variety of photographers to help find the best option for YOU. Save time, money, and stress by booking one of our combo deals. See our Photo/Video Combo Deals

Our Custom Films take the traditional wedding video beyond its limits. These are 100% custom-crafted films that include video footage from your wedding day, from getting ready with your bridesmaids to your Grand Exit through sparklers. Occasionally, we’re even able to add some special video footage from your rehearsal dinner or proposal or other significant moment caught on camera! We incorporate our own signature storytelling style to create a highly personalized, breathtaking film that is truly unique and will often bring tears to your eyes as you relive the precious moments of your special day in a way you never imagined.

We don’t just throw together these custom films in a day. In video production we call this process pre-production and post-production. We start by interviewing you and your future spouse about your personal taste and style in wedding videos. Then we pre-record your love letters and other narration for the most personal sound to your own wedding movie. Even on the wedding day we take a different approach while filming and bring additional gear and videographers to ensure nothing is forgotten and to give you the opportunity to purchase additional films after the wedding. Then after the wedding day your film goes through a series of edits, sometimes upwards of 15 or more, where we carefully assess each shot and each sequence and finesse color and audio segments to absolute excellence.

You will always have a chance to review your custom film before the world premiere release, and we know you won’t regret choosing a custom film that you will enjoy forevermore! Couples who order custom films value quality above price and speed of delivery. Even if that means we need an extra week to perfect your film, you know it’s going to be worth it!

We offer custom Short Films between 5 and 7 minutes long and custom Director’s Cut Films between 12 and 18 minutes long and start at $4,000. The length of the film will vary depending on the story and imagery we have to work with from the wedding day. It’s truly a memorable experience, and you and your friends and family will be talking about it for years to come. Don’t believe us? Read some sweet words our brides wrote about their own custom films! To see samples of Custom Films, click here.

For more Highlight Video options, see FAQ “Highlight Video: Highlight” and “Highlight Video: Trailer

Our Highlights are the classic wedding highlight video you might see from any other videographer on YouTube. It includes video footage from your wedding and background music along with some audio from your vows and/or reception toasts to bring some life to your film in a sweet way that adds a more personal touch and little bit of story. Our Highlights are either 3 minutes or 5 minutes long and start at $2,000. To see samples of Highlights, click here.

For more Highlight Video options, see FAQ “Highlight Video: Custom Film” and “Highlight Video: Trailer

Our Trailers are the simplest and most affordable highlight video option and include video footage from your wedding with music in the background. There is no other audio from your wedding vows or toasts. It’s just video and music. Our Trailers are either 1 or 3 minutes long and start at $1,300. To see samples of Trailers, click here.

For more Highlight Video options, see FAQ “Highlight Video: Custom Film” and “Highlight Video: Highlight

A Long Video is any type of full-length edited video from your wedding day, or any wedding video other than a highlight video or Raw Footage. Videographers call these all kinds of things: documentary videos, multi-cam edits, full ceremony, etc. These include multiple camera angles and professionally mixed audio for clear sound. We offer a few different options of Long Videos from just your wedding toasts to full-blown Feature Films depending on what portions of your ceremony and reception events you want to remember. To see samples of Long Videos, click here.

A “highlight video” is a very broad term in videography for a short video anywhere from 1-10 minutes, that is set to music and summarizes all the best moments of your wedding day. Sometimes it’s just music, sometimes it has a little audio from the wedding ceremony, and sometimes it’s a full-on cinematic movie, complete with story-like narration from reception toasts and possibly love letters exchanged between the bride and groom. Some types of highlight videos take an hour to make and some take months to make depending on how complicated or custom you want it to be. Be sure to ask your videographer lots of questions about what kind of highlight videos they offer so you can find out what they do and don’t include.

At Evermoore Films we offer a few different types of highlight videos. We call them: Trailers, Highlights, and Custom Films. All of our highlight videos include legal music which you are welcome to help choose if you desire as well as film credits at the end of your video to help you remember all the hard-working friends and vendors who helped make your day beautiful and memorable. To watch some wedding highlight videos, click here.

Raw Footage is literally a compilation of all the video footage straight from our cameras to your computer. It is completely unedited with no color correction or audio mixing, but includes everything we captured on your wedding day. This usually ends up being hours and hours of footage where you get to see it all: the double angles, retakes, bumps and bruises as well as the roses among the thorns. No one is forgotten, nothing is left out, and it’s all yours forever and ever to do whatever you want with it. If you don’t add Long Videos to your package, the Raw Footage is a great cost-effective substitute, definitely not as pretty or enjoyable, but nonetheless special and important to many couples. To see a sample of Raw Footage, click here.

We offer a full range of wedding videography options from affordable to premium. We offer three categories of videos: highlight videos that are a short overview of your wedding day, long videos that capture your full ceremony and reception events, and raw footage which includes literally every minute that we film, completely un-edited. See the other Highlight FAQs for details.

Booking and cost

It depends on which package you choose. If you choose one of our Standard Packages, we can only guarantee to deliver the videos you ordered in your package. But if you choose one of our Signature Packages you have the opportunity to add any video after the wedding. This is a great idea for your one year anniversary or as a surprise Christmas present to your spouse or family!

Yes! We can schedule an in-person appointment at our studio in Southwest Bakersfield. Schedule a phone call to find a time to meet and talk more in depth by signing up for our pricing and clicking the schedule a call button!

Yes! Most couples would prefer not to pay the full amount of their wedding video package at the time of booking, so they choose our monthly payment option. We simply take your total package price and divide it by the number of months until your wedding, and that gives us your monthly payment amount.

For example, a wedding video package for $1500 divided into 12 monthly payments would be $125/month, a $2500 package divided into 5 monthly payments would be $500/month, and a $6000 package divided into 16 monthly payments would be $375/month. The amount of the monthly payment is completely dependent on how far away your wedding is and how big a of package you choose. Booking early is super helpful when it comes to payment plans, since you could get a $1300 wedding video package for as low as $75/month!

However, if you’re a last minute bride and are getting married within the next month, we also offer extended payment plans where we show up and shoot your wedding but don’t edit or deliver any footage until the full amount of the package has been paid. This has been an absolute LIFE-SAVER for some couples who otherwise would never have been able to afford a wedding video so late in the process. So you see, there’s something for everyone! See our custom price calculator to determine a potential package and monthly payment!

The cost of a wedding video varies drastically between wedding videographers. Some videographers/cinematographers have a decade of experience and charge $5,000-$10,000. Some just finished their first wedding for a friend and are charging $300. The cost of a luxury wedding videographer is typically above $4,000, while the cost of an average videographer is typically $1,000-$3,000. The national average that couples spend on videography is about $1800 with most couples spending $1,000 – $2,500.

In Bakersfield, you can find many wedding videographers in the $2,000 – $3,000 price range. The cost is based on a number of things like; the location of your wedding, the type of video(s) being created, the hours of coverage on the wedding day, the number of videographers, the equipment used, and the experience of the videographers.

At Evermoore Films we offer a full range of wedding videography options from affordable to premium. Our pricing ranges from $1,300-$8,200. See our pricing for more details.

The short answer? No deposit is required! The long answer? Your first monthly payment acts as the deposit. The amount of that payment depends on payment plan. As in the three examples above, your first monthly payment might respectively be $125, $500, or $375, etc. Simply choose a package and start making monthly payments toward the total price. See our custom price calculator to determine a potential package and monthly payment!

Yes! You can add extra hours to any package if you need us to stay longer. Once your wedding day schedule is set, we’ll review your coverage hours, and we can add extra hours before the wedding or even wait until the wedding day to decide. If your schedule runs late or you change your mind about something in the moment, then we’ll make sure you have the opportunity to keep us longer.

Contact us for further details if you think you may need to split your coverage hours.

Yes! Keep our videographers happy and alive by including them in the head count to your caterer for vendor meals. We will verify with you 1-2 weeks before the wedding how many videographers will be at your wedding.

What if my wedding ceremony and reception are in two different locations or two different cities? No extra fees! Instead of worrying about how many locations we are running around to, we focus on hours of coverage. All locations will be included as long as the coverage hours give us plenty of time to film everything you want. If you’re worried that a 6 hour package won’t be enough because you have extra travel time needed, you can always add an hour or two.

Yes! All videos are delivered digitally by default, but you can purchase a separate physical product at any time. We offer DVDs, Blu-rays, and custom engraved USB thumb-drives.

Planning your wedding long distance but still want to meet face-to-face? Let’s schedule a Skype or FaceTime call to get to know each other or to work out wedding day details!

Drone coverage can be added to any package. It is not included because of several reasons. To legally and safely fly a drone at your wedding, we must ensure that one of our FAA licensed drone pilots is available. It will also depend on the weather of the day, as we won’t be able to fly in rain, heavy wind, or snow.

Another consideration is the distance of your wedding venue(s) from the nearest airport, since it is illegal to fly within a certain number of miles from any airport or above a certain height that might interfere with air traffic. We recommend reading this blog article before deciding you want drone footage. If the answer is yes, then we’ll provide the best quality legal drone shots for your wedding!

Yes! Our studio is based in Bakersfield, California, but we love to travel and are happy to drive or fly for your destination wedding. The fee for a destination wedding varies based on how far you take us—ask today about the travel fee for your wedding venue. Click on a city to see a sample of a video we filmed there!

Have questions you would like to clarify or want to discuss details about your unique wedding? Schedule a phone call today by signing up for our pricing and clicking the schedule a call button!

The answer to this question depends on a few things. First, it depends on which videos you order and how simple or complicated your wedding day is. Second, it depends on which of our videographers are available for your date. We will send the videographer(s) that are best suited to you and your wedding. Some of our videographers prefer to work solo while others prefer to have an assistant.

For our Standard Packages we will send 1 or 2 videographers as needed, and for our Signature Packages we will send 2 or 3 videographers as needed. If we send additional videographers, it will not increase the price of your package. The bottom line is: you don’t need to worry about how many videographers will film your wedding—we will do whatever it takes to deliver the videos(s) you ordered for the price you paid.

We are licensed and fully insured. Our liability insurance meets the requirements of even the most rigorous of venues, and we are happy to send any required proof of insurance.

It depends on which video you’re asking about. Everything will be ready within 1-6 months from your wedding, but no matter what video you order you’ll be able to enjoy your one year anniversary by re-watching them all. Highlight videos are created first and will be ready between 1-3 months. Raw Footage and Long Videos will be ready once the highlight is completed, anywhere from 1-6 months. Faster turnaround is available for a rush fee. We’d be happy to go over specific delivery time frames based on which videos you choose.

If you order any custom film, we will ensure you absolutely love it before we release it to the public. We always ask you to double check spelling in the film credits to make sure we didn’t misspell anyone’s names since when it’s done, it’s done! Any small revision is included in the price of the Signature Packages, but major revisions for any film may require an additional fee for editing time. Revisions will be made at the request of the couple only and the discretion of Evermoore Films.

The answer to this question all depends on which package you choose. For the simpler videos we may only bring one camera and a few bells and whistles, but if you order a highlight video or a long video we’ll definitely have multiple cameras. If you choose any Signature Package you can trust we’ll pull out all the stops and bring all our favorite bells and whistles!

Ok camera geeks, here is an excerpt from one of our latest weddings, talking about what gear we used for a Signature Film:

“We captured this wedding primarily in 4K Blackmagic Raw with 2 Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K Cameras, Metabones Speedbooster, Sigma Art 18-35mm f1.8, Sigma Art 50-100mm f1.8, and Canon 100mm 2.8L Macro lenses with the Moza Air 2 gimbal. DJI Phantom 4 Pro for the 4k drone shots. We also captured additional footage using Panasonic Lumix G7, Lumix 12-35mm f2.8, Lumix 35-100mm f2.8, and Rokinon 85mm f1.4. Edited with Adobe Premiere and graded with FilmConvert and Lumetri”

Does that help?!

Vendors we've worked with

If you’re looking for a Bakersfield wedding venue, chances are we’ve filmed a wedding there! We have been to wedding venues all over Bakersfield and California as Evermoore Films. Here is a list of some of the venues we’ve shot weddings at, in alphabetical order. Most of them are Bakersfield wedding venues, but we have also listed out of town venues as well. Wedding cakes, wedding pies, wedding donuts, weddings cookies, wedding cupcakes, towers of sweets, and sugar almost too pretty to eat…now you’ve entered the wedding bakery world! Cake tasting is perhaps one of the most enjoyable appointments you get to make during the wedding planning season of your life, that is, if you like sweets. Someday I think we’ll need to think of a good excuse to tag along and bring a camera to your cake tasting appointments because…you know…it would make for some great shots on video! 😉 Brides have often asked us for ideas on bakeries in town and a list of bakeries we’ve worked with so they can know where to start in their research. Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Keep in mind that this is merely a list of bakeries we’ve worked with since we started Evermoore Films back in 2012, and there may be some companies or individuals who have since stopped offering their services, who may have moved out of the area, or who may have gotten married and changed their name! We’ve worked with Bakersfield bakeries and wedding bakeries from all around California, and some are up for traveling so whether you’re planning a wedding local to Kern County or looking for a destination wedding cake, we think you’ll benefit from browsing! Click on a baker’s company or name to see a sample wedding video that we worked with them.

From venue exclusive caterers to taco trucks and more, we’ve had some absolutely delicious meals all around! Wondering if we’ve worked with your wedding caterer or looking for a place to start in your research? Click on a catering company below and we’ll try to remember the last meal they served 😉 Some caterers we’ve only tried once and others again and again and again….mmmmm. Keep in mind that this is merely a list of photographers we’ve worked with since we started Evermoore Films back in 2012, and there may be some companies who have since stopped offering their services. We’ve worked with Bakersfield caterers and wedding caterers from all around California and hope this list will be helpful as your research your own caterer!

Whether you’re looking for a wedding coordinator, wedding planner, wedding designer, or event producer, we’ve worked with some of all of them! For ease of research we’re combining them all today, since some offer multiple services within their own company while others exclusively offer only one style of “coordinating.” But we hope this list will be helpful for those of you who are wondering if we’ve worked with your coordinator or designer or for those of you who are looking around to see who offers wedding coordinating services.

Keep in mind that this is merely a list of coordinators we’ve worked with since we started Evermoore Films back in 2012, and there may be some companies or individuals that have since stopped offering their services or who may have moved out of the area. We’ve worked with Bakersfield coordinators and wedding coordinators from all around California, but most are up for traveling so whether you’re planning a wedding local to Kern County or looking for a destination wedding planner, we think you’ll benefit from browsing! Click on a coordinator’s company or name to see a sample wedding video that we worked with them.

A DJ is another important vendor that makes a huge difference at your wedding reception! While we can’t say “we’ve seen it all” we’ve definitely experienced working with a huge variety of wedding DJs from side-job hobbyists to full-time DJs, most of whom work way more events than just weddings. Again, everyone has their own style, personality, and experience, and it’s important to research well, read reviews, ask for referrals from friends, and choose the right DJ for YOU. There is not a “one-size-fits-all” with a wedding DJ and so we hope this list of vendors we’ve worked with will at least get you started in your research.

Keep in mind that this is merely a list of wedding DJs we’ve worked with since we started Evermoore Films back in 2012, and there may be some companies or individuals who have since stopped offering their services or who may have moved out of the area. We’ve worked with Bakersfield DJs and wedding DJs from all around California, but most are up for traveling so whether you’re planning a wedding local to Kern County or looking for a destination wedding DJ, we think you’ll benefit from browsing! “It’s just some pretty flowers in a vase or to hold. How hard can it be?” Boy oh boy do we see the difference now! A florists job isn’t easy and they might work just as hard as any other vendor to plan creatively and execute flawlessly for a breathtaking experience on your wedding day! We’ve worked with some of these wedding florists only once and many of them multiple times over the years. We’ve seen how companies have come and gone, and we’ve watched some bloom into shops and full-time professions and scale the limits of their talent more and more each year.

Keep in mind that this is merely a list of florists we’ve worked with since we started Evermoore Films back in 2012, and there may be some companies or individuals who have since stopped offering their services. We’ve worked with Bakersfield florists and wedding florists from all around California, and some are up for traveling so whether you’re planning a wedding local to Kern County or looking for a destination wedding florist, we think you’ll benefit from browsing! Click on a florist’s company or name to see a sample wedding video that we worked with them.

While some brides prefer to do their own hair for their wedding day, most of our Evermoore brides chose to hire a professional hair stylist to “do them up” – not just them but their bridesmaids and mothers and mothers-in-law and even flower girls. Every hair stylist does things a little different – some travel, others don’t, some work lots of weddings, others few or select, some do just the bride, others have a team and can do multiple people at a time.
